I think that's what you would call it. Anyway, not having a good year with these things. One stripped out on the 782-2 early on, Sunday, the one on 782-1 broke out-rite! CC website shows them as NLA, would be nice if they listed the part number so a fellow could search the 'Bay'. If anyone knows the number or has a good one or two they would part with it would be much appreciated. I can make some this winter if it comes to it, just don't want to take the time to do it.

I might have something you can borrow  on a parts tractor Mike

It's a 1541 but I would assume they are all pretty similar? It did have a 50 c on it.

I always keep a spare , experience from 50 years of owning CC's...

Ha-Ha. I keep a spare Cub Cadet or two, or actually three now.  I remember years ago I went through a spell of bad ignition coils,  had two Cubbies back then, my 72 and Son's 129,  both ran then died when the coils over-heated both sitting in the backyard. That was before Dave Kirk started selling the Bosch blue coils. The stock Kohler coil was as good as you could buy.

I did Check yesterday. My parts cub didn't have anything on it and I didn't find anything in the garage during a quick look.

Dr. E, I like to have back-up tractors as well! Just really like mowing with that 782, so much better when the beer-holder is on the fender.

I think the one Mr. Plow sent is in town, neighbor texted me yesterday that there is a package there. have to make a run this morning to check.

Thanks for looking Doug.

GMC's will do that to a day!!!!  🤣🤣🤣

What makes it worse is it was one I had already changed from the original rot out. Rubbed on the bottom of the cab until it got a hole. Don't think the truck will last long enough for it to happen again! Somewhere along the way brake line diameter changed! Looked like 1/4" line to me, nope. Was 5/16", well, had 5/16" fittings on it. Had to use the 1/4" notch when flaring it! New lines are really 5/16"! Was kind of a head scratch-er but got it back to operational.

On a day that I didn't want to go to town, wound up making that journey three times!

DT FAN - Back in my beer drinking days I had to run something with a steering wheel, used one hand to steer, other to hold the beer.  My Cub Cadet zero turn has a beverage holder on the left side dash, but you need both hands to steer it! But it needs about 2+ hours less time to mow. I think that's a draw if not a WIN.

I used to have tie rod ends fall apart but I started using HEIM JOINTS instead. The oldest pair are 20+ years old and still tight.
