Giant Vac blower

I have a push one just like it.  Blows like a hurricane!  I have to throttle mine down some to keep from blowing the rocks off the driveway!  Mine may have a newer Briggs on it as mine has the tank that bolts to the carb.  Mine also has a different snout that can be flipped to blow out the front.  I just had to rebuild the carb and replace the pull start bearing mechanism, but they were mine issues.  One of the local Community Colleges use one like it strapped to a cradle of some sort on the three point of their tractor to blow off the parking lots.  That way they get the best of both worlds.  Seems to work well.

We have used the walk behind ones for years at work with very little problems.  The big thing to look at would be to make sure a fin on the fan isn't broken off if you can't run it. I've seen that a couple of times over the years working on them. It will obviously vibrate like crazy, but if you can't test it out, you wouldn't know that. The fan can be a nightmare to remove. I've had to cut the fins off and slot the hub with a torch on several.

I have a walk behind style here that appears to be much smaller, im not overly impressed with it, this looks bigger, i am hoping i can get my wife to run this while i runnthe backpack and use this to keep the driveway and lawn edges blown back between cleanings.

I had a big leaf blower 3 pt. Got it from a golf course. Did a little work on it. That thing would blow leaves 100 ft if you ran it full throttle. Sticks no problem. I had a 1/4mile lane with mature oak trees on both sides. We would run parallel to the lane blowing then perpendicular. The leave would end up in the woods. That thing was a beast with a hydro tractor. Around the house use a backpack then unleash the blower. Fall leaves were easy. I sold it after i moved to the land of no trees.

Thats sort of what I have in mind. My backpack blower is an animal, illegal in California, Canada and several cities around the country. But i still end up chasing them around and around buildings and such. My wife is 105 lbs soaking wet, I doubt she could stand up with the backpack on, so with a blower mounted on the kubota she should be able to actually help

put it on a zero turn if ya don't want to push it on wheels.....

That would require a zero turn…

I bought it, I bet it’s pushing 300 lbs. engine was free, blower seemed in good shape. I haven’t really even had a chance to look at it to decide what model it might be, but its a cast iron 10 hp briggs.

Odd this topic came up. Successful Farming magazine I just got in the mail has a guy who took a silage blower and converted it.
