oleman
Got a cat from a family off of craigslist. freshly weaned, bottle fed future rat catcher. But for now she is a totally black house cat. I had to relearn that cats are not trained, us humans are retrained on how to live with a cat. 4 pounds of teeth and sharp claws, perfect for rat catching not too good for my old arms. Kitty plays rough! 1

charlier
We had a cat that would literally go nuts to get at the pizza box. We would remove the pizza and close the box and give it to him. He would lay on it and roll back inforth for a good while. It was like catnip to him. He was solid black also, sure do miss him.

I have had 3 all black cats in my life, all had serious personality. This one we have now is in excess of 20 lbs and will touch nothing, and I mean nothing but dry cat food. A friend of mine's sisters cat was setting on the roof of another friends new Chevy pickup. The sister was gone for the day. The brother decided that he could surgically remove that cat from the roof of that new pickup with a .264 Winchester Magnum. Kind of one of those, "Hold my beer and watch this?", things. The owner of the pickup just sat back and watched this play out. The gun went off, the cat died, the pickup was not touched but it was a slimy mess. The brother got to wash a new Chevy pickup.
Binderoid
There’s always a story about a tough guy shooting a cat. Real pillars of society like the guy on here who leaves animals alive in traps to bake in the sun to get revenge on them… what a dickhead

I ended up with a dozen mouse traps on top of it. I never saw what happened but 9 or 10 of them were on the ground when I got home.

They don't understand what 1600 dollars is. Cats and dogs help many of us deal with the stress we face each day.

This shooter just had his 70th birthday and over 75 people was at his party to wish him well. He is a pillar of the community and carries a 45 acp because he was assaulted in the Wal-Mart parking lot. He didn't take the assault laying down, he fought back. The two idiots who assaulted him wanted his legal drugs and one paid dearly, lost a hand and both are now in the pen. Even though he shot a cat, I will stand my ground next to him at any time and any place. We will also protect YOU if necessary, even though you think he is a dickhead
charlier
Assailants got what they deserved, no doubt and more should get the same! But shooting an animal for something like that is completely idiotic and in my opinion he is a complete and total jerk.
Binderoid
The whole story sounds like bullshil!t anyway. What kind of idiot would let some other idiot play Willam Tell with a new truck? Or any truck? What was he , three feet away? Oh , boy what a sharp shooter. I wonder what this Clint Eastwood told his sister when she got home. I wasn’t calling your friend a dickhead, that was for the guy who bakes live animals. A couple guys want to swap some cat stories and you bring that sh!t in here. What are you waiting for, applause?

Rawleigh99
I had a Scat Mat to retrain my parent's cat when I got my new 1989 Mustang GT convertible. It worked well. Shocks them and they learn not to go there! I am surprised they are still in business after 34 years! Good product! https://www.chewy.com/petsafe-generation-2-scatmat/dp/296066
