Huron Pioneer Threshers Steam and tractor show Blyth, Ontario

Just walked in the house, Its been at least 5 years since we went to this show and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Some pics may not have a lot of people in them because I always go very early for swap meets and parts etc,  If anyone ever finds themselves in Ontario in Sept I suggest going to this show. If you are hauling your house trailer this is the best show for you, 100s of campers with food, music and barn dancing etc in the evenings.

A big thank you, hillman, for posting all these photos. Looks like it is a great show. I'm in the opposite end of Ontario or I might have went.

Couple of things caught my eye:

1. 650 tractor and looks like a 600 beside it. From what I am told, they have the same engine as a Super WD9 and a TD9-91 dozer- 350 cubic inch displacement.

2. steam sawmill- do you know what make the carriage is?

Thanks.

Yes,all 3 tractors have the same engine so I tried to get them all in one pic

I didn't notice the make of the carriage. I will text a buddy who is going tomorrow . The show puts out a very nice program book every year. These are all from that book.

Blyth is a nice little town close to Lake Huron, The wife would like the show, theres the Blyth theatre with the original building and an outside theatre that they built during Covid. Never been to it but its very popular

I went back through the pics and noticed the WD9 was not a Super. so the engine is basically the same other than its a 335 cube engine. The parent bore is smaller in that block, at a glance the decal does not have the white background and it says Deering on the hood. I am assuming the decals are correct. Also does not have the small IH on the grille
