I think I'd have flash backs of that or opening the door and a mountain of boxes falling on me. Cool ideas with them but just not for me. They remind me of those comfy cabs. Or vice versa, if I was to use a container I wouldn't go to the trouble of putting logs around it. Cattech Posted September 5 Share Posted September 5 It does dress it up a bit. But looks like a heck of a way to host every sort of unwanted small critters, insects, arachnids. I have been contemplating converting a 40' high bay into a cabin for my place up north. My buddy up there does residential/commercial spray foam, owns a spray foam rig, so it'll be well insulated. Couple windows and patio doors, little wood stove. Be a cozy and weather proof shack for a fraction of the cost of building something. Honestly, I don't understand spending the money to put this together with little chance on an equal return. I will say that this structure is probably much sturdier than some of the old dilapidated trailer houses that people live in around us. ray54 Posted September 6 Share Posted September 6 I have been in and around a used container over 20 years. It has been amazing in that no sign of a mouse ever getting in.
