DT Fan
So I made the journey to southern Ia. yesterday. Pulled the H in 3500, 400, and 4500 Lb. classes. Won all three, wait, I was the only tractor in those classes. Kind of a hollow victory. Told Larry to keep the trophys for net year. Anyway, the point of this post is that there were three 1066's there. @Farmall1066 already has two of those numbers. The other is a pretty sweet machine and I took a picture of the serial tag but, think it is illegible. The owner thinks so too. At any rate I will post the pictures and hope. There were some pretty nice trucks there, sorry, didn't take any pics of them. This was probably the last pull of the year for me, not aware of any around here that are upcoming.
Farmall1066
I’m going to guess 58362? Good looking 1066, thank you for the number!

Interesting setup. How'd he do? On the two black hoses, I have no idea. Pretty sure that is just air intake? He didn't do as well as looks might indicate, think if he dropped a gear would have been better. There really weren't that many tractors there. Larry got hooked up with some pulling ass. and it was mainly pickups. Not sure if I'll even take a tractor if they do this again next year. A guy down here used to pull a good running 1466 in the farm stock class. Just before he quit pulling, he put an intercooler in place of the fuel tank. Makes me think that might be what this guy did.

My first thought was inter cooler as well, but with the hoses going to the rear of the tractor, I’m not sure what those hoses do?

Maybe they're heater hoses so he can pull when it's chilly. I see he still has two remote levers in place. Rare to see that on a tractor with that much engine work.
