HydroTek
I have -- you can use the same setup that was used on the D-358 in the "88 series tractors tho the mounting bracket may need to be modified, since the 4 cylinder is shorter The filter was not typically used on the 4 cylinder engines tho -- Are you cleaning up a dirty system ? R190
I put one on my uncles 574 when we had to overhaul the engine in the early 80s because of cavitation issues.
ksfarmdude
You can put additives in the system for cavatiation problems Why buy another high priced fllter ? if guys service the cooling system more regular you'd never have a problem to begin with I've seen these older tractors with antifreeze so old in looks like chocolate milk ,There's your problem

ksfarmdude
I never recommend using soap Just good clean water til it runs clear nothing special then A good quality antifreeze and conditioner , I change and flush the cooling System about every 3 yrs been doing it all my life on tractors of all ages never ever had a cavitation problem
oleman
WIX has/had a had a universal coolant filter base and several types of filters available. We got ours in 2008 via Rock Auto.
steelerhawk
Fleetguard makes a great 2-step flush to clean that system thoroughly. Restore and Restore Plus. When clean, refill with a SCA-precharged coolant, like Fleetguard. The add a bottle of Baldwin BTA PLUS every year.
