The 61 Impala is one of my favorites of all time. Just not much of a fan of the super low profile tires, but to each their own. searcyfarms Posted July 30 Share Posted July 30 OH NO............a chevy motor in the ford................was at the dirt track races last week and saw two chevy 6cyls racing they held their own with the V8s that were there, talked to one of the drivers he said its a 250 chevy inline 6 but that is all he would say 😉 lotsa power!!! Now has a 79 Aspen R/T T-Top 360/auto. The 318 was a quicker more fun car of the three, but I don't remember the rear gears... That could make the difference.
