Anyone ever use one?  Sounds like an M-80 ,  can set it to go off at different intervals.   Borrowed this from Nebraska Game and Parks .Made in Holland.3C2B7038-FB23-4309-A96C-6F6068135F2F.thumb.jpeg.f8b48198719e750f88b6b32470f0a611.jpeg

I think they have something similar at work for birds. The birds get used to it in time and it is just excess noise.

We got tired of fighting with deer and other critters over the garden. So this year we put up a 8 foot tall deer fence around the garden. It’s working well so far

They only lasted 6 yrs in this region, including airports,

Neighbors had to install 12' prison fence, and then quit as there were too many needing extrication.

Normal to see 20+ deer at 3 pm in hay field and more on 5 mile trip to deliver

Shrubbery looks like Bonsai ,and hasnt needed trimmed other than + 6'  in 3 yrs,

They trim the 5' from porch while ,begging in the kitchen window, now devoid of anything enticing .............Lets start on axle breaking hoggs, turkeys, coyotes, fox ,bear ooooh my.        Very few rabbits.chips.

Looks like the same thing, in principle anyway, they tried out here.

Be careful how you set it up and monitor often.

Been to more than one grass fire caused after they got tipped over and still went off.

I have also heard after so long, the deer get used to them, resilient buggers that they are

Depredation permit seems to be the best answer.

A .22 is quiet and will do the job just fine.

Good luck!

Looking for some 10 gage slugs for my auto mag but cant find any locally. Going to try a 12 gage. Somehow due to crop rotation I'm the only corn field for about a mile in all directions. Found a path through a neighbor's beans straight from the river where they come from , trail cam  Shows 6 doe and one buck , they will walk right into me.  Game and parks has a “ Deer exchange program with nearly 200 names on it for people who will take the deer , i have six people ready as soon as i call.

Local orchard used to use them in an attempt to keep birds out of their cherries, after about three days and twenty nine "BOOMS" birds just hang out and watch it go off, their bellies full of cherries.

We have tried them for geese. They work for a short time, then the geese get used to them.

I don’t plan on using it .

I can head over with some good ole .490 round balls, pillow ticking, and powder and we can make boom boom noises like it's 1750

Kentucky Rifle for the win!
