Doc Brown
Does anyone know where I could buy F 12 intake/exhaust (same) valves either new or usable used? Steiner and ASAP don't have them.

Doc Brown
John...Good to hear from you again. I need OHV valves for my Fairway 12. I have 6 F 12 and F 14 heads and none have good valve seats that can be saved. The seats are cast in head and with upright exhaust and no muffler the manifolds and seats took a heavy hit. My friend gave me his K O Lee seat insert counterbore cutter and I will install new seats so that is why I need a lot of new valves. I see that Super A intake valves will fit but are about .020 longer and I think they have different keepers. I am ordering the inserts from SBI bt they don't show valves for F 12. They do have for Super A and C.
Farmall Doctor
Engine machine shops would have spring shims to take up the length difference. I wouldn't think that .020 would have a detrimental effect at setting the rockers.
DC Snider
Try Dwayne Hansford at Rustic Red Acres in Indiana. Good luck…
gary1466
I used 350 Chevy exhaust valves lock and spring retainers because I was being CHEAP . It was just a parade tractor but I did have a 2-12" plow for it. I turned the valve heads down smaller. They were thicker so they gave more compression too. All for zero dollars using old parts. The length was very close and both had 11/32 " stems.
