Bought this over memorial day weekend, Just had to have it for the collection. Went and picked it up today It's got what I'd consider a very odd combination of features. Best guess off serial number and WI historical society numbers is it was built within the last 100 806's for 1964.

806 gas, factory TA delete,  factory 3 point delete, HD drawbar. HD 34" rears. As far as I can tell it's a factory fender delete, OR it had clamshells being a 64. It does have factory wiring to the 2 wire rear plug, and the rear light. Someone's been in the PTO, appears to have always had a PTO. Dual rear only hydraulics, no hoses ever ran to the steering column outlets.

Plan is the same for all my gas tractors,  open station with a narrow front and period correct fenders.

I'll upload more pics later. Won't be able to tear it apart till Tuesday. Pics are from the listing and when I loaded it up today.

I like it.  Remove loader if you don’t  need it, somebody will buy it.   Remove cab, who knows, somebody might buy that too.  Wide front end has value for sure, it looks good from here.

That’s 6k here in NY.  With fenders and narrow front….yee ha

Just a couple random pictures while moving dad's 806 diesel and my 806 gas around the yard yesterday.

806 gas is in the shop ready for saving from its ugliness,  but not till tomorrow, been too busy all week.

The camera effect makes those back wheels look crazy huge!

Snuck in a couple hours after chiropractor tonight.  Probably wasted my time going to chiropractor because after 2 hours of wrestling a wide front and that loader I'm gunna have to go right back!!!!!! So worth it though.

11L-15's on the front, I like the look but need to be tucked in a bit narrower, gunna have to find different rims. Cab will come off tomorrow.

When I first looked at that tractor, I thought the cab was pud ugly. With the loader gone & the NF on there, that looks pretty sharp!

What's on the jail bars on the front? Electrical tape. "¯\_(ツ)_/¯ "

They somehow cracked 3, then drilled through them and bolted flat steel on the outside. It'll most likely get a good used 1 from the junk yard.

I've seen all manner of repairs, but that's a first. Interesting....

Nice tractor, I like it😀    always wondered why the 806 gas has that 100lbs valve cover???

Marketing didn't like that you could see over the valve cover from the side. The 806 is taller than a 706 so they made the big valve cover so it didn't look like a small motor in a big tractor.

Absolutely correct.  856 gas had the same valve cover.
