For the 8 track fans

As a child of the 60's guilty of bellbottoms and Kiss boots, Meat Loaf will never sound the same as 8 track switching tracks and in car repair to the tapes, the best of times

I'm just saying bat outa he'll doesn't sound right unless it switches tracks midway through, also miss the days of V8 Vegas that some kid shoehorned together to quadruple horsepower without a consideration for engineers stamp or liability

I had a Sony TC 660 4 track reel to reel, servo controlled with all the features,  no 8 track for me.  Many years later, I have a Niece that is an actress and  singer, she told me that I was responsible for her singing because she had access to the Sony TC 660 when she was growing up at Grandmas'  house.

Ha! Where'd you find Dave Major?  He was an exceptional musician!! Another one of those people that could about play anything he got his hands on.

One of my favorite videos, just because it starts off silly.

Most of the rest of them 8's were in my collection until they got wheeled out to the road last year. Only kept a handful.

And.... you may keep your MeatLoaf, sir.

:v)

I had a built 70 Nova, 350, 4 speed, 5:38 rear, my street play toy. It had a bench seat, and with a little Black Sabbith cranking, it would throw the tape out of the player back onto the seat when I hammered second. Good times.

That much gear must have been a lot of stoplight fun, not so much for the road trips

I picked this up to try out the factory 8 track in Grandpas 1086. I’m sure he never owned an 8 track in his life. Still need to try it out.
