I will echo HP's sentiments.

I would like to list everyone I met for the first time but there were so many, Id be afraid of leaving someone out.

What a bunch of top shelf gentlemen (and a few of their beautiful brides)

It was definitely my pleasure.

Thank you to all for a memorable day!

And safe travels to all!

I will echo Hot Plug and Sandhiller's statements.  It was truly an honor to meet you all.  I wish we all could have spent more time together but life says otherwise sometimes.  It was an honor to meet all of you, and hopefully it is in the cards that I can meet all of you again in one place or another. Take care, and safe travels to all!

Pictures from the combine plant. Thank you to CNH for allowing us to take pictures inside the Grand Island plant. Sad to hear that the Midrange combine production will end there shortly ....its still more or less based on the original IH 1480 design.

Many thanks to Roger Lewno as a speaker relating to his 50+ years of working for IH and CaseIH. Lots of neat stories about red tractor production from him.

I don't want to be off topic; but just a question to ask you what will be the future basic model of Axial Flow combines.
I thank all the people who post these beautiful photos 529289609.gif 235484.gif

For the near future, the existing Flagship design will be the main offering for some time yet.

As far as the next generation of red combines....the last I knew that hasn't been settled yet.

A few more pictures of the combine plant and the IH TranstarII that I thought was interesting in that it had a 903 Cummins for a powerplant.

That’s what’s makes these deals so great is the people and connections.

What a great first RPRU to come to! Incredible show and greater people!

Tomorrows plan is to take lots of pictures and videos and buy a few things. I’ll report back to here.

A few more pics.  The last two were at a dealership in York, just a few miles away.  The bin extension on that combine is the biggest I've ever seen and that I-6 (I think) looked cool with the cab and loader.

The M in the pics below was an experimental with some hydraulics.

Someone asked about what's next for the Case IH combines...the midrange production is moving to South America. Grand Island produces 3 midrange combines per day. The rest are flagships.

Grand Island would have been 8.5 for me if I could have made it, so I hope you can make Iowa next year! I will be dropping everything I’m doing, and going to next years show, I’m only 4 hours from Spencer!

A big thank you to everyone who posted these photos. Wish I could have been there but I see that a couple of "local lads" made it out there.

Q.  I see a TD6 dozer in one of those photos. Is that mogulman's restoration?  Any TD9's shown?

That experimental M is really something!! They must have p'd away a lot of money into changing up so many castings for something they were not going to go through with. Even the Aeroquip coupler frame is different. Unless it's missing parts??

Thanks for showing more pics of the featured centenarians, too! That newfangled stuff is only so exciting. 😉
