Recommended Posts

Neighbor has two.  This is his second 1466 before he bought it . His first one has this on the MCV and I have forgotten to ask what it is

Aaron, you're doing a good job picking out models I don't have many pictures of. Found two. First one is from a farm sale a few years ago, second one is the uncle's.

Looks even better rubber side down 😊

Are those the super rare “Gold Demo” weights?

Just kidding

It seems all the pictures from the old phone post upside-down. Was able to rotate on the puter. Not sure what his thinking was with the gold weights? Maybe hoping to find a Goldie to hang them on?

My 1466 had the stupid cab when I bought it at a consignment sale.

I took the cab off. Shortly after this picture, the PTO went south. I had the dealer fix PTO and check the horsepower after. 200! No wonder it had more steam than any of the other tractors.

Then it got fenders and a ROPS.

It has had lots of uses since it has been here.

I was gonna ask which cab was the stupid one, then noticed the slanted "tan line" on the sheet metal.  Now I know.

I love the 66 series. I'd like to retrofit a cab from one onto my Hydro 70. The Year-A-Round cab I have on it came off a 966 and we made that fit so maybe??? The 1466 is just an all around tough looking machine.

I’ll try to set up a 2023 remake of the original sometime.  We’ve aged more than the tractor.

I had the cab off a few years ago, I have a set of fenders, almost put them on, -but it just wouldn’t feel right. That tractor  spread essentially all the manure, two or three loads, every day,for close to 30 years. Cab  was really nice to have in the winter.  2500w block heater on a timer. It was warm as soon as it was running.
