KWRB
Nope nope nope. Give me snow by the foot, and keep all that crap away. I get a kick out of people who grew up where I live and just RAG on the climate, and then they move somewhere where there's some combination of tornados, earthquakes, hurricanes, floods, wildfires and volcanoes. That stuff scares the ever loving snot out of me. I saw a tornado in the distance once when I was in Texas. Didn't care to ever return after that. I still remember where I was and the sense of dread and horror when a babysitter explained to me that tornadoes were real. I was certain it was just another part of the fantasy in The Wizard of Oz until then.

Lazy WP
I was through Lamar about 3 weeks ago, maybe a month ago now. I don’t think I’ve driven through harder rain than that!! We have them funnel looking things too! I took this one using my mirror as I was out running it.
acem
Remember that you can't always see a funnel cloud. If it has proper the moisture conditions it will condense a cloud. Otherwise it's clear until it picks up debris, dirt, etc. I've seen a clearish funnel cloud become black when it touched the ground.

Some people are afraid of snakes. In the natural world I am most utterly terrified of tornadoes.
acem
Here's the proper procedure of what to do when the national weather service issues a tornado warning. Pick up any loose items in the yard. Get out the lawn chair. Ice down beer in a cooler. Sit back and enjoy the show!
acem
Or if you prefer you can have Pecos Bill lasso one for you with the rattlesnake he uses for a rope!
