I absolutely HATE the aquatic rats. I've dispatched a lot but deal with a stupid neighbor who thinks they're wonderful, so I have to deal with them on the pond on our property and not the culverts on the causeway on the ROW to our place. Another neighbor who overlooks our little pond gets them from her deck. I'm always willing to help her out with anything she needs. My wife and I just chipped a lot of slash for her. She's a good shot but getting into her 80s.

People think beavers are some sort of engineers but all they do is stop running water. There's a picture around somewhere of a loud speaker that was playing running water sounds dutifully covered with mud and sticks by a beaver engineer.
