There was a constant flood of '77 to '79 Ford pickups went through here when the boys were in high school.

enough to give @mike newman the vapors🤪

Those catalogues were well worn. 😄

Me too. One of the best deals for engine rebuild kits and won't cost an arm and leg in shipping like some others. At least that's the way it was for the last engine I built. Also bought tons of suspension and brake parts there.

If I understand it right northern auto parts is now owned by Arnold motor supply.  When I have checked prices they were not as good as  before.  Fuel pump that was $75 now $260, I don't think there's been that much inflation.

Throw a 400 rotating assembly in it while you're at it. I've always liked the M series... Pictures please.

some folks will make fun of a 400 but i had one pre emissions and it would sing - lots of jaw droppers when i roared by in the station wagon 😉 one of the locals are our dirt track ran one for several years and he did well, youtube a 400 build - good info out there

Built a 400 from my 79 Bronco using the recipe from the Sep 98 Hot Rod magazine. Note the wear on my issue. I might have read through it a few times...

Prices won't be the same but the results will. There is another one on the stand in the garage. My 79 T-top Thunderbird is waiting for it.
