Makes you wonder what they found out from the other “thing”…

and why this one was destroyed.

Meanwhile, while all eyes are on this, the story of the fizer exec's interview just fades away, day by day, till no one remembers what he revealed to his date.

Anyone know anything about the train derailment in Ohio? Spilled vinyl chloride, anyone know what vinyl chloride is? I’ve never heard of it? I guess it happened this past Monday, and I just heard about it yesterday.

It's used to make pvc highly flammable, from what i seen the railroad is just as bad as the government about not giving a straight answer and when i first saw it they couldn't get a shipping manifest to the first responders so they didn't even know what they were dealing with to take care of the problem

East Palestine Ohio. Norfolk Southern train broke a axle on a car and wrecked throwing cars all over the place and it caught fire. Weakened the tanks carrying the vinyl chloride so they decided to burn it in place rather than try to mess with the cars

Vinyl chloride is the VC you need for PVC used in lots of things but mainly plastic pipe

"They decided to burn it in place rather than try to mess with the cars"   This seems odd to me. You would think it can have been offloaded.

Meanwhile we're all supposed to drive electric cars and put panels on the roof.

And in this area, most insurance companies will not allow solar panels on a building, and then if there is a fire, the FD won't put water on it.

the temps of the cars got dangerously high so they were worried they would explode and if so could cause damage and/or send shrapnel a mile away so the set small explosives off knocking holes in the cars so they could burn off the chemicals, the cars that were damaged but temps where low was offloaded into trucks after it was safe to get into them

This is interesting but I also see why the FD's won't squirt water on them.

With solar panels, how do you put a new roof on your house without costing three fortunes?

I call all this, Unintended Consequences.

The usual reply to all this is, "We didn't think of that?"

Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh?
