I was there in ‘95 or ‘96. Left Michigan in my ‘56 Chevy with about fifteen other old cars, we were on Rod & Custom’s Americruise. Picked up more cars on the way out to Lincoln. Met a lot of great people and had a blast. One of the activities in Lincoln was a tour at Speedway Motors with some behind the scenes access, saw a pallet of un machined hemi heads.

Tucker 48 right? The lemay museum in tacoma has one perfect restoration, one thing I learned was the name "torpedo" was a misnomer, it is the "48".Framed-Picture-2-1024x710.thumb.jpg.0aa7ff4cd8d83daaa2aa4d40552933c1.jpg

It is great. Hoping to make the road trip to red Power via Lincoln. They even have the real version of this or at least they did a couple of years ago. @lorenzo is not exaggerating 20230204_202740.thumb.jpg.fd78c0076d50cf25cab5ebd8f5c76169.jpg

Yes there is a genuine “Tucker” on display as well as an engine.

I don't know why, but it referenced the engine as being a "helicopter" engine.
