EquipmentJunkie
Thanks for posting that truck. Very classy for its day. I frequently see an early-'90s Autocar dump truck (one of the last) still hauling stone in my area. It is painted medium-brown with a tan accent...kind of ugly, but definitely distinctive these days. I don't know much about it other than the owner operator has to be over 70 years old by now. It makes me smile whenever I see it.

ChrisNY
Love Autocars. Great heavy trucks. I almost bought a DC dump truck about 20 years ago down in PA but ended up coming home with a Mack instead. The Autocar was pretty rough. Still might own one someday. Those integral sleeper Autocars are a rare bird. Was king of the road when it was new.

No specs and it appears that truck is down under judging by the license plate and phone number on the door

New Englander
One of the sanders I drove as a kid was a late '50s Autocar. 5+2 aux. t probably was a road tractor at one time. It only had to work in the winter.
65806
I hauled a lot of water in the oilfield in the late 80’s with a mid 70’s Autocar. Had the butterfly hoods and steel tread plate front fenders. I think it had a 350 cummins and a 5&3. Tough old truck.
int 504
I drove an Autocar mixer with big flat head six gas White engine and a 5 and 3. had a Dodge flat six for the mixer. Very tough truck. Wasn't all that slow but you had to drive it. Was a 1953 if I remember correctly. Edited February 10 by int 504 add info
