What did you do with your Red tractor today?

Friday I chopped stalks with the H, and on Saturday I put a used battery box I found on it, after making a couple square headed bolts to mount it. Today I took the 340 over to the neighbors place and pulled his zero turn mower out of the woods. It wasn't any trouble but he still tried to pay me; I turned down his cash but happily accepted two jars of muscadine jelly for my trouble!

It's a wild grape that grows in this part of the Ozarks:   https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vitis_rotundifolia

They're darn good in either jelly or wine.

I've never eaten them raw, but I'd assume they are somewhat sweet. We have gobs of blackberries around here, much like how you describe. My wife picks and freezes them for making cobblers and putting on ice cream, but I really don't care for them much. I darn sure don't care to pick them! But, being the good husband I am, I run the brush hog though the patches we have scattered around the farm so she doesn't have to wade through the briars to get to the berries.

Well this is more of what you did for two days. After more rain delays,it dried enough to get the wheat planted. Started in the morning and went till where the beans were standing. Beans were dry enough to finish that evening as more rain on the way. Back to wheat about 11pm, finished about 1am, rain by 6am. 6788 and 20ft. 5400 controlled spill mulch drill.

Got our wheat in last week. The way the weather has been, we're glad.

We ran 55 acres of beans Wednesday ahead of the rain. Still have a long way to go.
