Bgriffin856
Been busy since I last posted. But injection pump back on after getting it rebuilt and noticed the water pump leaking.... At least we noticed it while in the shed neighbor replaced his deck so I took most of the old pressure treated lumber. I have a problem with hoarding used and scrap lumber Made some 2nd and 3rd cutting dry hay and balage last week and the week before when it was nice out. The most beautiful 3rd cutting I've ever cut. 3rd cutting seems to be yielding about the same as 1st in alot of fields Baler we picked up in March at a consignment auction did quite well. Probably the nicest square baler we've ever owned And of course the job that never ends
MT Matt
Ground off some oat stubble with the W-6. This was the first real work the tractor has seen in many years, had been sitting on a tractor lot since 2018. Ran well but has some crud in the tank that needs to work it’s way out. Getting there. The oats was cut high and had a few strips of thistle that was cut around. I planted orchard grass in this field last spring so I don’t want to deal with the stubble in next year’s cut.
Mr. Plow
40 tons of CA6 spread over base of 1x3 for the driveway to the new shop. Borrowed dad's 684/2250 for the big work and 782 with box blade and Fruest harrow took care of the rest. Gets too dark too fast! 14

Never get tired of watching you work with that Red Iron at your new shop Steve. Glad to see your box blade set up is still performing well and making seat time enjoyable! Bet you can't wait to start working in the new shop this fall. Turned out great. I'm sure the tractors will enjoy their new home.

Regardless of what you end up doing in life, it's good to be able to operate a 1086.

MacAR
Finished up hay for the year. The old 37 turned out 240 bales this afternoon, only broke 10 and 8 of those were my fault for over feeding. The others were a combination of twine tension and billhook tension. But I'm just happy to be done with hay and getting on to the fun stuff like corn picking and tillage. DT Fan
Mostly just moved mine around so the combine and grain truck could get out of the shed. Did have all the diesels running. And the 756. Had three of the pumpkins running yesterday too. Today it's off to the junkyard to look for some combine parts I kind of forgot it needs!
MacAR
Started on the hayfield rejuvenation project today. Yes, that is in fact a 340 utility hooked to a 10' disk; no, it didn't like it. But it pulled it ok in 3rd gear surprisingly. Reached for the ta a few times but reminded myself that the reverser lever wouldn't help me any! The only reason I used the 340 was to try out my new remote I installed this morning, and it seemed to work well. The check valve may be bad, since it won't hold the disk up for very long. This field has been in sod for several decades, and is getting very thin. I'll plow it this fall after the corn is done, then let it set over winter. Then put it into corn or milo for a couple years before going back to hay. Mac
Farmall Doctor
I am rebuilding an old 100'x27' pig barn to put tractors and parts in. The 504 has been a huge help in this project! The hour meter has been ticking away! It works well with the loader and the little Triple K cultivator on the back. The Farmall 300 got put on the baler today. The upper level of the barn was full of straw that was put up there 60 years ago. It is getting baled up and moved to a customer that has livestock. 110 bales today forked out of the barn loose and stacked onto the wagon.

nepoweshiekfarmalls
Finished winterizing the sprayer for winter. Moved the 856 to the corner of the shed. Hooked the 826 back on the planter. Dumped the seed boxes and installed the corn units. Next, tear into the row units and start replacing worn parts.

ny bill o
Baled some third cutting with the 656 High Utility that Dad bought new. Maybe the last bales for the year- time and weather will tell. I added the hydraulic turner onto the thrower this morning. Something I have wanted for the last 43 years. What's the hurry?
