As the master would say to the karate kid while making circular motions with both hands, Wax , wax off......

Yes, a little elbow grease would go a long ways.... However, the paint on the top of the hood is almost non-existent. Put this in the someday projects I guess. If I had another tractor with a cab.....

If the Patriot 3330 counts I've been running nitrogen on with spray material. 28 gpa goes slow since it's only 35 acres per batch. 4-5 batches of it and I think I'm done with that

Got done with nitrogen today. Have to finish washing the sprayer out and off yet...  14,000 gallons , 28 per acre

Knocked it all down yesterday, and like clockwork, turned the 10% chance of rain today into 100%.

More repairs. Replaced an axle seal on the Super MTA.

I have a friend who has a crane on his shop truck. Made taking off the wheel/hub easy.

And then on to the belly pump in the H. Needed the seal replaced.

The seal was straight forward but the pump gears seemed to have a catch to them when turned. It was smooth before taking off the coupler. So I had to go into the pump body and clean that out. Didn’t hurt anything to do that. Had dirt buildup in it so everything is completely clean now. And whatever the catch was, it’s smooth again. The tractor is back together and ready to go.

Hauled some small squares in with the Super M and C. 806 doesn't belong to us, it was just here to get painted, but we had to move it out of the way to back the hay in.

Had a little shower of rain, but not enough to hurt the hay.

Noticed a one point you could see 5 IH tractors lounging around the barn, with the sun setting behind. But by that point, my phone battery was dead...

Spraying stam on rice.

The AC on the 886 is leaking bad so I took off the door until I find the leaks and fix it.

It's unbearable with the doors shut...

Got the H loaded up ready to head to the pull tomorrow, with a little extra difficulty! Put a new sediment bowl on it when I got it home. It got some crap in the throat that would not pass and would not let enough fuel through to make it run. Drained the tank and tore the sediment bowl apart, think it's clean now. Acid test tomorrow morning.

I disked the last field for corn with the older 3588 and 475 disk this morning, then planted it with the newer 3588 and 800 planter. Now everything is getting a badly needed drink.

Started out hauling bales in with the hydro 86, but ended up working on it. The bolts on the steering arm decided to come loose.

Swapping the 18.4×38  out for some 14.9×46's

As I get older the rows seem to get narrower  when I'm spraying....🤣

Attention ; it leans :hello: By my house in the South West of France in the high Pyrenees towards Lourdes, farmers must exploit their land in very steep places at the risk of losing their lives there. To maintain these grounds, despite the presence of Reform or AEBI brand mountain machines; most farmers do not hesitate to use their conventional agricultural tractors which are widened for the occasion. In summer, these photos give the appearance of postcards with these green landscapes, but it is advisable to take the hat off to these people who work 7 days a week with complicated climatic conditions, especially in winter with the cattle sometimes subjected to certain predators that shepherds do not like to see. If these people were not there , the mountain would be invaded by brambles , predators and tourism would take a big hit . It will also allow to highlight the harshness of the work of these "forgotten" people and clinging to their mountain 😎 So I allow myself to put some pictures of mountain reds from a farm where in the area there are other reds 😎 I came across this farm's Facebook site by chance and wanted to let you know; especially when red is honored with a beautiful little Farmall 75 A and a Farmall 95 C. It's going to change from the great plains where we are used to seeing Magnum, Puma, Axial Flow type gear ..... Here is the link where you will find the few photos I posted below ;)  Photo taken from the steering wheel of the Farmall 75 A

Changed the rock shaft arms from the fast hitch to 3 point on the 806 today. Been meaning to do this for awhile.  Got it done today.

Had a flat 620/70-42 and we tried to use the 900/65r32 but it's going to require a slight cab lift . Put an 18-46 on instead

Changed the points in the 782. Been mowing 2-3 acres of lawn with it since 2014? First time I've done that. Gave it some other regular maintenance.  Raised the deck with the leveling screw one turn, satisfied with that. For the $650 I invested in this thing it has cut A LOT of grass!!!

Got the H out and played with it a bit. Pondering my tire options, have three sets of 9-bolt duals. Don't think any of them are going to work however. Just need to find a decent set of 15.5's or 16.9x38'S. The picture is of a 18.4x34, a lot of tire! After that it went to the shop for hitch height adjustment. Finally I checked the ground speed with the hand held gps. Wide open in second gear is 4.5 MPH, will be trying that at the next pull!
