Collins Farm
I’m going to rebuild the engine in my 1586 because of a cracked block. Reaching out to people with first hand knowledge of switching from rebuilding from DT436 to a DT466. Can I use the same fuel pump and injectors on my DT436 instead of the straight 6 pump used on the DT466. Does anyone know of any publication of procedures that I can get? Farmall1066
We did this to a 1466 years ago. We just changed out the crankshaft during the overhaul to make it a 466. Used the same pump, and I believe the same nozzles that fed the
IHC_1470
I am running a 466 in place of a 436. Fuel system and turbo are from the 436. No issues in doing so. 466 was a combine application that I switched to a tractor application.
