SMOKER 1
I was watching Pickers this morning and they were in Minden, Nebraska at the Warp Pioneer Village. Being it is only 54 minutes from Grand Island, I thought it might make a nice side trip for the day during Red Power Roundup. Does anyone have any thoughts or know anything about the place? lorenzo
Supposedly they are remodeling and have hired mikey wolf to help. My question is why the H-LL would you let that douch bag anywhere near that place. 2

DT Fan
Guess I'm missing out, no idea who that is. There is a guy that's on the Orange board that's only about 25 miles to the South that I may go visit. Especially if he has a good gas tank for a CA! Really should call him and find out.

Alan Dinan
That show has destroyed the market for getting any old stuff at auctions.
Alan Dinan
Sorry Jerry, didn’t mean to sidetrack your post. Good luck finding some side stops!!
nepoweshiekfarmalls
I toured Pioneer Village as a child. Remember it well. Very cool. Just about any item you could think of, they had them on display. I remember a beet harvester mounted on a Farmall H in the agricultural building. Hope Mike does not mess the charm of the place up......
Pete1468
I was there in the late 80's and then fifteen years ago. I remember allot neater looking items from the first time I was there compared to the second but it was still neat to walk around.
Lazy WP
It used to be an absolute amazing place. The old man died back in the late 70s early 80s. The state of Nebraska took it over and like everything else it has deteriorated. We took Dad there for his 85 birthday a couple years ago and it was okay. Still lots to see ( just not as clean as it used to be. Well worth the drive.
