5488 Seat / Armrest Identification

Recommended Posts

I am hoping to seek a little help identifying which seat this is.  Its in a 5488.  I have been looking on Messicks.com through all the parts diagrams, but I can't find any pictures that fit.  The main reason I'm trying to figure this out is so I can try and find new armrests (possibly new seat cushion as well -- if cheap enough).  As you can tell, it has the big on the left, and small on the right.  Hoping to find the same style / material armrests that are on there now.

My main goal is to re-do the interior in this tractor.  As you can see from the pictures, its a mess!  But while doing that, thought it'd be a good idea to fix the seat up as well.

Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you in advanced!!

K&M offers all the stuff you would need , I have been just pulling the entire seat assembly out and putting a complete airside setup in there . There not cheap but a very nice way for you to enjoy spend the day in the tractor .

Like Danny said it's not the cheapest but it keeps everyone happy that rides on them, to me its a night and day difference and i'm not getting any younger so my body appreciates it

It is not like what is in my 1470 which is a 1460 with leveler. The left arm rest is standard size not large like that one and they did not have an arm rest on the right side as it was mounted on the dash. The basic seat is similar as far as upholstery design and color. I would have to look at the seat as I do not recall where the levers are mounted.

I had a local shop reupholster mine three years ago and they only charged me $120.00 to do both cushions. Not sure what they would charge today.
