Farmall Doctor
So what was the reason to go with such big rubber? It looks good though!
JaredT
LSW's are the new fad around here. Rather than planting pinch rows with duals and triples on the planting tractor, just put those on and plant through the tracks. Supposedly finding that the yield dip on pinch rows is much worse than rows planted into LSW tracks. I refuse to put LSW tires on the 966 for pulling our 8 row planter, guess I will have to sacrifice the pinch rows.😉 1

Tires that expensive are worth getting within 1/2 psi of the correct for optimum life and performance. Suspended front axle?

Dad put 43" Big A floater tires on his 4400 combine during a wet fall back in the day. IIRC we ran about 5 psi. Sure regret not getting pictures of it. Lol, i dont know jack about growing cotton, dont feel bad. Pinch rows are the rows between the tires on the planting tractor, the ground is between the duals/triples getting "pinched" from both sides. There are a lot of sugarbeets grown on 20" or 22" rows locally, it really shows up there, 30" rows you don't really notice it.

Probably shows up more (much more) for those guys enjoying deep deep topsoil.... I have never really noticed a pinch row here and some of our planting tractors drive over the row. We have very little topsoil though
