It's just impossibly hard to share photos here easily (unless someone has an EASY step by step method to share) so I just read now. The bulged panels could have been a styling change or for alternative alternator/air con compressor mounting?? Recently I acquired a box about 1 meter long with 8x10 pics of IH proto tractors made at Hinsdale from the 1950's to the 1980's. I'd guess several hundred (maybe 1000?) pics in all. Excellent coverage of the X50-X60-06-56-66 series. Not so much of the 3X88 and 5X88 or 2+2 series. IH had LOTS of great ideas that never made it off paper, many that were built but never manufactured. Some of the stuff they worked on in the 1980's is just coming to market now....IH was THAT advanced in their thinking! THIS tractor is not in the photo box, but IH tested so MANY ideas, that it would not be un common for it to be missing. BK if you have pictures to post and have trouble, you can e-mail them to me and I'll post them. Text would probably work too. Let me know if you need contact info. R190
Hard to tell but is there a big cover for the hydraulic filter similar to the cast iron one on a 656 hydro on that 1266?

ksfarmdude
Kind of reminds me of a poor mans tractor similar too When Deere produced the 4000 model tractor for those who couldn't afford a 4020

The boxes from OZ were less than one trucked from Calf.

I use an app called Microsoft lens on my phone to scan all the literature I come across. It does pretty much as good of a job as scanning something with a printer and you can save it right to the camera roll on your phone. Then you can share it from there or email to your computer. You can use it for printed pictures , hand written notes , newspapers, pretty much anything. I believe it’s available on android , I have an IPhone , I guess it does rely on the phone having a half decent camera. If anybody interested I’ll make a demo video of how I do it.
