My own IH picture.

Took advantage of the 50 degree day and moved a bunch of diesels to the shop before the cold weather sets in. I'm in the process of putting lights up and had to snap this picture while on the scaffolding.

Closest is the 856 custom. Needs 3 point arms, tach, fuel and temp guage. Needs the steering valve looked at, gets hard to steer at idle. Also going to slide the rear wheels out. 28" on center is just too close....

Next is my 806 standard.  Needs a bunch of fuel leaks fixed, oil leaks, new seat. Bunch of lost motion in all the steering pivots need welded up. New front tires and rims. Also needs a better exhaust pipe.

3394 needs a seal in front right planetary. Radio hooked up, oil change, new hydraulic couplers.

Dad's 806 with the cab is getting a bunch of smalls painted and cab interior work.

Under the plastic is a Super M-TA diesel. It's owned by the guy I bought this farm site from, he wanted to leave it there to work on it over the winter. Stuffed full and it's not even December.

Classic symptoms of a worn out MCV pump. Poor steering at idle. Loss of power brakes while turning. Transmission lube pressure light comes on.

I dream of having a shop even half that size. Maybe someday

Its small by todays standards 40x48. Built by a frugal dairy farmer back in 1982. The door is tiny, 12x16, it's getting widened out next summer.

Took me 7 years to buy this place. I've wanted a shop bad for years. Just couldn't spend 100K to build one when I knew this place would be mine at some point. I'm super excited to be able to work on stuff inside VS the dark dirt shed floor!!!

Never big enough. When I bought my place it had a 20x30 shed, compared to working outside in the mud, it’s a shop. I’m slowly turning it into one, however it is still equipment storage, so it gets very crowded this time of year. My two tractors side by side with just enough room to squeeze between them. I’m jealous of your elbow room but grateful for myself being under a roof.

Congratulations on getting it, your life has improved. We have a lean-to off a pair of corncribs we can work on stuff under a roof and it's used to park a tractor in. Most of the time it's outside in the driveway. Or the upstairs of the bank barn. Nothing will top a concrete floor and maybe some heat. Maybe someday

Is that a "sometimes I just sit" chair?

That's the "20 minute stare" chair.

Pour a cup, sit back, figure it out...😉

(Can become a 2 hour stare-chair VERY easily):o
