I know they are scissors but I’ve never seen any like them. Spring loaded opening. Did they have a specific purpose?

Fly tiers use them while making fishing flies.

ACTUALLY, Vacuum tube pulling pliers, used to remove vacuum tubes from their sockets.  These small ones were used on 6AU6 size tubes, would get into tight places and keep the techs from burning their fingers on a hot tube.

Alright, finally got pictures of something. I have not a clue, hoping you guys know what it is.

Edit; Maybe some kind of leather punch riveter?

Vintage de-capper. Probably for shotgun shells. Punches primers out and maybe another function.

Not really a tool, maybe a part?

Found about 6" sticking out of the ground on the side of the trail road going to cows.

The "raspy" part is 36" long.

Don't know what is but would sure invade a sidewall and ruin a tires day.

Got it dug out before it could have it's way with one of my 20.8x38's.

Reminds me of a snapping roller from a corn picker but not exactly.  Maybe a roller from a husking bed?

While we have digressed to models -

"Sh12 hot Jim, and Therapeutic Albo - affordable and just in time for Christmas!!!"

https://www.michaelsmithnews.com/2022/11/sh*1-hot-jim-and-therapeutic-albo-affordable-and-just-in-time-for-christmas.html

The new Scalectrix hybrid set - you get a clockwork back-up for when the power goes off

(Actually a tilt at the cluster that is the power system in eastern Oz and things associated)
