It looks like the same pin I had give out on my 1256 earlier this year. Wire is a good idea, I used a zip tie. Just don’t do what previous owner of my tractor did and weld it. I had a #%*! If a time getting the grinder in there to knock the weld off. That was after fighting it for awhile before I realized it was welded on the other side too.
