rode enough miles in livestock trucks to know you NEVER walk next to a trailer unless you know for Darned SURE it's empty

How bout a convertible next to a cattle pot at a stoplight?

The more expensive the car, the bigger my smile 😄

Geese some of you all really let trivial stuff get under your skin!

I sorta get it, I have those days too but usually it's the vehicle with the super bright mis aimed lights that bug me early in the am. Other wise I'm either a. Not that observant or b. I just don't worry about it that much. Then their might be c. Not as many stickers in my area? 🤷‍♂️

"Caution Horses" signs were only on trucks or horse vans when I was a kid in lhe 60's in Eastern PA. I don't even remember cattle trailers at that time other then tractor trailers. Every livestock hauler had a truck. I know those horse vans were a sign of money and aristocracy in the main line if Philly and surrounding fox hunting clubs. We had Horses for all our kids and our trailers never had that painted on the back.I figured it was a status symbol from the days gone by.

I have questioned the purpose of "CAUTION HORSES" stickers as well, it kinda suggests that I would not be respectful to a fellow motorist, but wait, there are horses, ok I'll behave

I've seen the salt life stickers here in the Great White North, the first one I ever saw several years ago was a customer, and the last one I saw last week was the same customer, they told me they surf on vacation, back when we first saw the sticker we thought it said slut life so we asked about it, they are good folks

Iowaboy has the right idea, but I let things bother me too much sometimes, I think we all do, especially when we are stressed and frustrated

I'm not a fan of stickers on my vehicles, I do stick performance parts stickers around the garage, and on my minibike, I would like the look of painting/sticking my company name on my truck, in the same style my Gramps had his trucks done, he was Elmdew Farms, I'm Elmdew Automotive, but it would draw too much attention I figure, people would randomly talk to me too much when I was getting lunch or gas

So I guess stickers on cars are for people who want to get noticed for something, my favourite bumper sticker, though crude, was on a purple 99? Sunfire driven by a young lad, "My other ride is your Mom"

Seen recently on rear of SUV : "Caution, Show Cats".        😶

Now that’s one that would potentially cause the opposite effect of its intention. Ramming speed!

Pretty crude for sure.

Seen on vans some decades ago, not quite as crude: A$$, grass, or cash, no one rides for free.

I also don’t have an issue with a sign asking people to stay away from livestock in a trailer. People are stupid. They would stick their arms in and get bit or get the animals all wound up and potentially injure themselves.
people don’t pay attention to bright clothes or flashing lights but i still wear them whenever i am working traffic or unloading equipment on a road somewhere. We do all we can to protect ourselves and those we are responsible for. Apart from spike strips and a beatdown it’s about all you can do. I could go on for days about stupid stuff people do around emergency equipment.

BTDT.   Or some little car that’s annoying me by hanging out at the rear of the trailer, all of a sudden flips it’s windshield wipers on and miraculously finds the accelerator

How about a windshield washer pump and nozzles, or maybe an ether solenoid loaded with your favorite aerosol.

I was thinkin more of a Nelson 100 end gun and a 5hp trash pump.

But I believe we are both reading from the same playbook 😄

Oh I don't mind something tasteful or a clever sticker that's clearly tongue-in-cheek.

The "Caution Horses" people though, have no sense of humor. They are really valuing the lives of their hayburners above all others including themselves and their children.

I think you are reading way too much into this. I dislike horse women as much as the next guy and probably more… really, you have no idea. But having transported horses quite a bit and knowing how dumb people are i don’t see why a caution sign is a bad idea. As much for a parked trailer as a moving one. If i were hauling cows, sheep or ostrich i would also have one to warn people to stay back. People wouldn’t run up and pet a random dog, but horses for some reason don't get the same respect.
personally I think you must have too little to worry about, maybe time to take up a new hobby?
