Seth barnett
I have a D310 German diesel with a Bosch CR pump. I have some injectors that need to be rebuilt. Due to not atomizing Fuel and just spraying streams. My question is that cyl 5 or nozzle B on the pump will not spray fuel even if a know good injector is installed. A local shop told me that it could be due to the other injectors being faulty. When the engine is running and you crack the line on cyl 5 if sprays the same amount of fuel as other cylinders. Could this be a injection pump issue or could it be related to the faulty injectors?
Injpumped
It could be either. Best get those injectors rebuilt before it ruins the pump head. I may be a cylinder ahead in firing order. Keep them numbered and it'll tell the story once your fuel shop checks the injectors.
Seth barnett
So I got all the injectors rebuild and I took the pump to the shop they told me that the pump was fine. So I installed the pump and rebuilt injectors and now cyl 1 is smoking white and cyl 5 is still not pulsing injector. So I’m assuming it is a pump issue. Where would be the best place to get the pump rebuilt?

CIHTECH
Very hard to tell from your picture but I would say lines are mixed up. Firing order is 1-5-3-6-2-4. No. 1 is oulet "A' on injection pump then they need to be in firing order, looking at back of pump it rotates CCW. Looking at shaft end it rotates CW

Farmall Doctor
I remember a MF 165 that the lines were mixed up on... the lines interchanged without and bending or force necessary! It drove the owner nuts trying to figure out why it ran worse after the pump rebuild! haha
