Salam
Hi, The U joint of my Dozer came off and damaged the transmission yoke. I was able to remove the four bolts that held the u joint assembly to the torque converter and then removed the transmission yoke. I did not have to disconnect any of the power shift transmission hoses. it was difficult to remove the four bolts using the Allen wrench quarter turn at the time. I was able to find replacement u joints. I have two questions: 1- Where can I find a replacement yoke? if I can't find replacement, I am thinking about heat the yoke where it is bent and straight it up, weld it up and then make sure it's true on the lathe and mill. 2- What is the best way to install the U joint assembly back into the machine? TRAVELETTE
A quality driveline shop can make a new yoke. I had some NLA yokes made for a H60 Hough done a few years ago, instead of the very pricey driveline replacement kit that K/D was offering. Saved over $1200 USD.
Dirt_Floor_Poor
I think @junkandcattle has a parts catalog for the 7C. He might be able to give a part number so that you can Google it and see if it is readily available.

Dirt_Floor_Poor
Here’s a link to Machinery Trader’s dismantled machines section that lists places that have TD7C salvage. https://www.machinerytrader.com/listings/dismantled-machines/dresser/td7c/construction-equipment

just Dave
I hope you get lucky and find a replacement but if not, It does not look to bad to fix, much like you described. I would put the spline in the yoke during straitening to avoid distortion. Make a puck from scrap steel (1" minimum thick)to fit the bent end as if it were not bent, drill for the two good bolt holes and bolt the puck in. I would go barely red, maybe 6-7 hundred degrees. then squeeze the bent ear down slowly while keeping heat reddish. Do not quench.... I f it did not crack you can face it off and go.

Salam
Guys, I appreciate all the inputs. I called few of the junk yard places, either they don't have it or they say they will check and call back, no one call back yet I am going to repair the yoke myself. I will try to heat and bend to shape, build it up with weld and machine it. if the ear brake during this, I will machine the spline to accept new ears. when I am ready to install the drive shaft, do I assemble the u joints (everything is the image junkandcattle posted) outside the machine? if I do that, will the complete assemble fit in the transmission input shaft, then I can bolt it into the torque converter yoke? if not, what is the best approach? do I have to disconnect any hydraulic hoses? is it easier to install it from top or from underneath the machine? farmalldr
Salam, If I remember right you slide the trans yoke on the spline shaft by itself then install the u joint assy between the yokes and bolt it up. Should be able to do it from the top. Good luck with the yoke repair. Did you try FP Smith in Calif.? Dennis
Salam
One of the junk yards, returned my call. they said they have the 625809C1. I asked them for pictures. The part doesn't match. They said this part number is for the yoke that goes on the torque converter side. Does anyone have the correct part number for the yoke that goes on the transmission? farmalldr
You have the right p/n per junkandcattle first parts diagram. Could end in c2 instead of c1 though. Think the junk yard is wrong. Dennis

Think the junk yard is wrong. Dennis Dennis is right, the part number is 625 809 C2, that is the correct yoke that is on the transmission, 619 962 C1 is the flange that is on the output of the torque converter. TD7 C , 100C use the same universal joint.
Salam
Good afternoon, I appreciate all the inputs, I was able to repair the yoke (heating, hammering, welding, lathe and milling). I recorded the process and posted on my YouTube channel in case someone is interested. This is the link:
junkandcattle
I have watched several of your videos rebuilding your dozer. Wasn't any doubt you could do it.
