bitty
Think archery starts next Saturday here, I've been too busy to get a book and look yet though. I doubt I'll get much tree stand time in this fall with all the changes and labor shortages here and this might be best as I didn't get cameras out. I don't want to spook everything away.

lorenzo
Does five dead ones hit by cars in an 8 mile stretch just south of Lincoln count. Now that corn harvest has started they are laying on the road side on average of nearly one per mile. Happens every year here.
stronger800
This count? Only second one I’ve hit ever. Daughter is back at college, so I’ve been trying to save a little fuel running her car. 1 1
sandhiller
No deer but I did have a cow elk trot in front of the pickup on my way home tonight. Hopped the fence before I could get my phone camera fired up. When I got home wife showed me this pic of our neighbor girl who got this bull I'm guessing on her grandpa's ground just a couple miles up river from me. 11

Guess I don’t know where that is. Another nice Niobrara bull!!
stronger800
Wait a minute. That thing is real?! I live a pretty sheltered life out here in New York.
mike newman
Ahh deer season..no doubt looked forward to, by thousands of your compatriots ..went out on opening day in Utah (rifle ) 1993..one of the most terrifing experiences of my life....sort of like an .''outdoor supermarket '' with blokes and gals dressed up with the ''clown suits'' walking around every which way one looked... clutching enough fire power to take out the govt (Hey,,,thats what good friend and Utah resident Lynn Hunt called the mandatory garb....) ..one good thing about our Socialist Paradise...the rifle season lasts for 365 days per year...although a certain Middle East religious 'cult' are definitely off limits....(.NB) Good luck to you Hunters all........ Mike NB......whilst we still have rifles........ 1

stronger800
I’ve heard of moose well north of me, but I think they are rare.
ray54
All the deer hunting fun is over here. Started the second Saturday in August until the third Sunday in September. So it closed yesterday. The 4 so inclined each got a deer here this year. Three where out this weekend looking for a second. Have not heard if any got a second one. bitty
Today was the opening day here. I got out by 5 PM. Passed on a decent 8 point and saw a spike and 3 point all close by. The 8 came out at 12 yards . The spike had one point coming out weird and maybe he'll be neat in 4-5 years . I didn't get the picture of the 8 until a half hour after he got out when he was at 50 yard's
