jimw
Finnished swathing my weedy 20acre field today. Those 8210 swathers sure run smooth. One of the members wanted a close up of the front end
nate
I like the looks of that tractor! Is it an early one?
jimw
Yes the 7th one built. It has the old big rubber washer suspension seat. I was wondering when the hydraulic one became available.
ihrondiesel
Don’t think I’ve seen an 8210 before. What is the width of cut on that unit?
jimw
It’s a 20ft
brahamfireman
It also has the front bolster with the crank hole still in it. I don't know when they switched to no hole bolsters. I've had my eye on an 856 standard for awhile now.

ky966boy
No swathers around here can you cut hay with those or just dried up small grain?
jimw
I got it from a guy years ago who used it to cut CRP for hay. He claimed it cut hay good. I think it would but I can tell you the head is expensive to work on. I bought it for $500 but stuck roughly 12 , 1400 $ in the head. Probably about 2012? not exactly sure thou ? VacDaddyt
We tried cutting hay with a draper. Lets just say wet pocket gopher mounds are not compatible with a draper.
hobbyfarm
How do you move a 20ft swather around or down the road? It doesn't look like to toung folds 90 degrees.
