Test Fit it three times first. Extra set of hands helps.

I got the cab kit from Ferhs, the cab is off the tractor. You would sand off the area and blow off with air, would the be enough?

That’s were i get them too. Their window and door gaskets are also very nice. Minimal sanding/cleaning required. The old foam and glue is kinda a mess. I scrape it good, scuff it a little and wipe it with prep-all/thinner/acetone.   The new glue is sticky. Adhesion won’t be an issue.

I happened to have a deluxe cab kit from Abilene machine in the garage one day as the same time as one from fehr.  I want to say the Abilene machine one looked like it came from fehr.  It was packaged in the same manner and everything.

I don’t remember it perfectly clear, so that tells me the pricing must’ve been almost identical and that  I thought the quality was identical as well. (If either had been different, I would have remembered it)

That way will work, last time I did one on a 88 one of us scraped and sanded while another ran the shop vac to try keep the dust/mess down, worked pretty well

I will give that a try. I  learned a lot from people on this site, lots of knowledge here.

Make sure to dry fit everything first just to be sure it fits the way you want. Once you lay the adhesive down its a one shot deal ,take your time and shut your phone off when you start.
