Long Farms
Took dozer blade off my 856 and went thru it fixing it back up. Rock'd a NF while I was rebuilding wide front.
Farmall1066
I don’t know what it is about that 856, but I like it a lot!!! And it looks great with the wide, or narrow front!!
Diesel Doctor
Of all the tractors IH built, I lean towards liking the 856 the most. They were just a great, all around workhorse that was almost overbuilt. A very trouble free piece of iron. Powerful, easy to drive and just handy. JaredT
That would make me want to plow next to a 4020 just for the rivalry. Beautiful tractor, well done.

DaveinSD
Beautiful tractor, mine isn’t near that nice. I agree about the 856 being one heck of a great all around tractor. Mine has served me very well with very few repairs other than regular maintenance. It’s almost hard to believe that these are over 50 years old, especially the ones like mine that still work for a living…

DT Fan
Very nice! Wish I had time to give mine that treatment. Edit; Wouldn't hurt my feelings to have a barn full of other '56 series machines to keep her company!
