This wouldve been in February of 1970 so glad they fixed it.  First time I went was February of 1977 and they were letting them drive out of the place and drive in an hookup and it really started to fill up with smoke just from doing that

My daughter played hoops at that expo center. That place is HUGE!!

It was still fairly smokey in the late 90’s hooking up and unhooking. I remember non-smoker classes floating out the ceiling tiles back then.

One of the guys around here that pulled there , Oran Bruner, told me you couldn’t hardly see in the place back then.

Ya I went to a few indoor truck pulls that was bad enough so I can only imagine what that was like 

I'd rather watch outdoors and it can get pretty heavy then if there is no wind

Could get pretty thick in the old American Royal building in Kansas City back in the good old days.

Vacuum Tube broke in Old Cleveland Coliseum 1976 ,pretty thick in there to .
