Deer scouting and pics

I think this is probably within 10 miles of me. I know the hunter and his great GF started Hatfield meat . Other guy with him filmed it. I'm assuming that it's from their mountain cabin grounds or the home farm. His father farms right along some of our rental ground. A little forced perspective there but I am going to guess 130+

Nice deer. Mass and width should put him at or just over 130 I’d guess

Who would have thought this was possible in Pennsylvania?  I can't agree with everything the game commission has done but changing the doe season around and antler restrictions seems to have better balanced out the buck doe ratio.

No meat hanging but I saw 16 deer tonight unless a few were repeat doe, 4 antlered buck . The nicest came out 15 minutes before legal quitting time. As overcast as it was it was hard to determine exactly how big he was at 120 yards .  They worked to within 25 yards just after quitting time and had a bobcat come out 15 yards away. I was excited to be out tonight

I’m pretty sure this song is why @Sledgehammer built his deer blind

That’s a good song. Never heard it until now.
I had a buddy years ago who would take his GF up in a climber deer stand with him. I never witnessed anything but I think they did more than deer hunting.  I have curtains so it could be nice and dark in there 😁

Brother's Buddy asked if him and his wife could hunt my ground this year. With some stipulations i said ok.

He shot this yesterday morning with a bow off of my place.

I've got no pictures but I have around 5 bucks around and 3 does. There are lots of apple trees on the property and around the area. One is a nice 4 point the other 4 are all spikes.

Got a mama black bear and 3 cubs around too.

Sadly one cub got hit out front. Haven't seen them in a few days though.

Youth doe only season.  Darn child decided to keep his flip flops on to go.  Went to go out to the ground blind we put up but the deer were already out.  Improvised and used the "bale" stand. I thought there were less deer this year however apparently not.  8 doe and a buck were visible from this vantage in 3 different fields.20231021_171232.thumb.jpg.a8a059ab37a0b987f628445d690898f9.jpg
