Dell
So I got my m running the only issue is when I pull back on the throttle quickly it stumbles then goes wide open . If I do it slowly it fine. It has a rebuilt clean carb new intake and gasket. Electronic ignition, new plugs . Compression is good , valve all adjust . I’m think I did adjust the carb rich or governor is sticking any thought on how to trouble shoot this.
DWV
Could be not rich enough. How far is the adjustment screw that points to front of tractor screwed out? Try opening it up some or try with choke on some and see if it temporary helps.
Matt Kirsch
Timing. With the letter series you gotta tune em by ear. Set it so it sounds best at idle then pin the throttle wide open quick. If it stumbles go back to idle and tweak the timing a tiny bit. If it gets worse go the other way. Keep tweaking until it doesnt stumble or stumbling is minimal.
