Stopped at the No1 Chinese restaurant for a quick take out meal the other night while getting feed. Didn’t really register until i had already left, but there was a stack of 5 “Chewy” boxes near the door inside what would be the “dining room” except they don’t have seating.
🤔🧐🤮

Should you be concerned?

You are eating Chinee food.

Heck yes I'd be concerned

Very concerned.

Go wash your mouth out with three cheeseburgers.

And then reset your pallette with a sirloin.

Your body's a temple

Not a pagoda

Jeezo☹️

😄

Wet or dry?

Well if you check the stores lists of various people who talk lists of back up supplies "in case" they seem to include a couple of bags of dry dog food.

And a motorcycle bloke I knew told of getting a visit from a group of H123's Angels type friends.  Big night at the pub and he started to worry about how he would feed them.  They came equipped - tins of wet dog food.

I can only tell you this. Doing service calls to businesses for 10 years I've seen some things in kitchens. Chinese kitchens were by far the worst. Pizza hut being 2nd runner up.

Also dont be fooled by outside appearance on places. Some of the nicest high dollar places were the worst and little Suzy's diner hole in the wall surprised me. Just goes to you

You see and hear stories about people so destitute and poor they are reduced to buying tins of dog or cat food to eat.

This never made sense to me. You can get a 12oz can of Chef Boyardee for $1 or less. Multiple cans of canned veggies for $1. Why would you spend $2 on a 3oz can of Fancy Feast?

In India most animals are worshipped and people don't eat them.  Many Indians starve.

In China everything is a delicacy...

Different perspective.

Precisely, it's a stigma American's have brought into them selves. Now, just to be clear, I do not agree with the commercial slaughter of "pets", but in the end, it's technically still meat.

LOL, before I put my cat down I was trying to get him eating again... bought some of the $1+ a can soft food. I was 1/2 tempted to try the stuff, looked and smelled better than some of industrial slop I've eaten over the years.

I was at Walmart looking at cat food, seemed expensive to me. Went back to the grocery section and found caned fish for less. My cat loved the human food caned fish. Believe it was mackerel, wasn't bad tasting, very fishey.  BUT I cut back until she ate Walmart brand dry cat food.

I have spent many days in Hong Kong on visits, they were bilingual with English sub-scripts and Chinese verbal, on the local TV channels. Their cooking shows actually slaughtered the animal and cooked it in front of the camera. One animal I saw cooked was a racoon, they called it a mongoose. Their bra commercials also showed bare chested women in a before and after scenes. Very informative TV!

I have a big fat lazy black one here who will eat NOTHING but dry Hills Science Diet kibble. No cat treats, no people treats, no wet food… not complaining, but it does make The occasional medicine dosing an issue, the chewable heartworm, and that type stuff he wont take.
