It was perfect before they moved it out of the shop then it moved about 1 1/2” narrower, guess it moved around a bit when they lifted it so it’s flexible enough they’ll be able to fit it I’m sure. What’s 2” over near 70’...

An acceptable level.

Hello AngrySailor. oh no... now I’m talking to myself🤪 a few more pics of the not tractor. Think I got it a bit less that he was asking. Said the tires were new, they’re not. They’re ok tires to use but they’re mismatched side to side brand and tread wise and while decent they’re not “new” by any means. She’s tired and has some blow by but other than the grille the sheet metal is decent. Think it’s mine... 4

AngrySailor
Hmm trying to get big block parts in plane friendly shipping configuration. Main caps and rods near 50lbs. Have to get a bathroom scale to make sure I’m good at baggage check. These are the main caps and rods for the 496. Need to look at bearing clearance... she was trying to hurt herself. That’s the center main, the real tell is that the upper shells also show load, all the way around too. Not good. Hard to believe a 4340 internal balance center counterweight crank is flexing that much. Going to open the main clearance up to 0.004” and 0.003” on the rods minimum. Those are Clevite H bearings... hardtail
I remember seeing a valve train video at high rpm and how they last a minute is beyond me there is some serious movement and harmonics going on, sometimes ignorance is bliss...BBC always seemed hard on the rods, Mopar was the mains, somewhere between the 2 is the answer 🤔
