..good video's !!

...After the second world war, my Dad brought a small, run down farm...The elderly old bloke  who had previously owned it, used to come around on his horse   and cart, to help  Dad , on various ''clean up '' type jobs ..He did this for some years ...I well remember the scythe being used ...and the frequent warnings to a litle boy as to the danger of messing with it....

Someone more knowledgeable than me please jump in. ...... these people are all bent at the waist when cutting. I was always told to stand straight. If not, the scythe was not adjusted to you correctly. I do know the scythe must be adjusted to the user to cut correctly.

those that ya saw bend over in an extreme way only did combition mowing, Swiss style Scythe snaths can't be adjusted
