12_Guy
I just found out tonight that Richard passed on Sunday. He was a member here but it's been a while since he was active. Some of you may remember him. He was famous for his very nice restorations and his "horde" of belly tanks. Nearly all of his tractors had one. He worked for the country sheriff's department and was a member of Indiana Chapter #7 of IHCC.
Long Farms
Ole Richard always gave me inspiration on the way he set his tractors up. I enjoyed looking at his IHs in magazines and on their covers over the years. He was always great to visit with at shows and at his place. He showed me and my late friend Butch Aycock his collection few years ago while we were checking on Progress of his gold demo 1456 Coy Winslow was working on at the time. Richard had some great looking tractors and equipment and they were all very well restored and cared for. He even gave me a belly tank one time under the condition i dont sell it to make $ and fix it up and get it working. 1256 still rocks it today. 9
Brady Boy
So sad. I visited Richard a couple times, and visited with him at Red Power and Rantoul. Super guy. He will be missed. BK 😧

FarmallFan
I last saw Richard at RPRU last year. It had been several years since we had last spoke but he remembered me. Sadly I didn’t recognize him at first. He will be missed.

IHhogfarmer
Long Farms made me realize this. I remember coming home one day in early 2014 and seeing this calendar on the kitchen table that dad got me. Looking through it then I saw this beautiful 4166 and just now I remembered it was restored by Richard Walker as I read through this thread. I didn’t know him but remember his tractor was on the calendar. Maybe it stuck out since the 4166 is one of my favorites. Prayers for his family.
red_reaper
Richard was a Red Power forum original member. Great guy, and I really enjoyed talking to him at shows. Wonderful sense of humor and knowledge. I'm like BJ, I didn't recognize him and felt bad about it at SD after he had his stroke and wearing a stocking cap and yellow rain coat/hood. I told him he looked just like he'd come off a crabbing boat. He will be missed.
