Sresites
I had a ‘68 Roadrunner in ‘71 & ‘72 then my sister totaled it minutes after I left for the Navy boot camp. Then another ‘68 in ‘74 or 75. Used to drag race that one near LA. Then in 1980 a ‘69 Dodge Charger RT SE. A guy gave me the car and $500 for my ‘50 Panhead with a blown engine. That RT was probably the most beautiful car I ever owned. I’ve got a ‘66 Satellite right now.
twostepn2001
This is my cousin's '69 GTX. He bought it new in early '70. For years it was his daily driver but about 20 years he completely rebuilt it and started racing with it. He still has it but has slowed down on his racing schedule and only runs it 3 or 4 times a year. He bought a 2019 Dodge Charger Hellcat But sold it a few months later. He said his monthly insurance payments were more than the car payment.
hardtail
Buddy has a Hellcat and isn't really that impressed, how did he compare new vs old?

Must be either fiberglass fenders, or replacements as these are not present in the photo? I like the "Sox & Martin" retro paint scheme myself. But as far as fenders or other parts being replaced they could very well be. l know he has put in several different engines. Like l say he bought the car in 1970, 52 years ago so l'm sure a lot of things have been replaced and/or repaired.

He needed grandpa to cosign his loan for him, and grandpa wanted to check the car out himself before he did. So grandpa goes to the dealership and finds the dart on the lot and is looking it all over. The salesman comes over and tells grandpa, "Sir, you dont want that car. That's a young man's death trap." He still cosigned though. 1

Dasnake
You guys would know this more than me, is nitrous used in NHRA racing? To me it just doesn't seem right.
