That thing looks pretty mean with the rock box and duals on it. It ought to do just fine on the digger. Did you build your rock box?

I like the way your tractor looks. It's gonna be really sharp with fresh paint!

Could you please do me a favor?

What's the distance between the top link pin and the lower lift pins on your field cultivator?

Mine is assembled wrong and I need to fix it!

Thx-Ace

Well all the farmers can thank me in mn for the rain we are finally getting, it started to pour for the first time in months right after I started blasting.

You can do the sandblasting at our place if it helps with rain.   Got a shower today.   That was it.

you could have more fun if you painted the underneath gold and the top side red….🤭

Extra made sure I'm making a gold demonstrator tribute out of a modal that never came in a gold demonstrator,  they only made 544 in hydro as a gold , this being standard transmission makes it not a clone or a fake but just a tribute that anyone who k ows the history will know its just for looks. Same thing as somone making a hemi cuda out of a barracuda or a superbee out of a coronet

I like it.  Where’d you find the axle cutoffs? Or is that common round stock? (I don’t know the size of thise)

I believe there has been some cautions on here about welding on axles. I think it involved people tack welding their wheel centers in place and then the axle cracked and snapped off right adjacent to the weld.  Looks like your dual hubs are mostly on the original axle, but I'd be cautious with overloading those.  Not saying your welds are bad, just axles seem prone to cracking after welding.

Thought of that as soon as I seen the picture. Mudfly accurately describes a 1066 I knew of. Was just a light bead to inside of wheel. To keep it from moving in. Snapped off going down the road. This being welded clear through should be more uniform. Further out for less stress but may be more prone to bend. Time and it's use will tell.
