You might have something there, because money was saved on the rear of it too with just a single remote. Lol! But that wasn't super abnormal though, but by '74 one would think dual remotes would be getting more common. Especially on the 1066s and bigger.

Very rare to see a 1970's row crop with 1 remote at least around here.  Of course that excludes carry overs like the IH 56 series or the JD 20 series.

This 1066 was a 1973 and had a single remote. But like you say, their few and far between. Should've never got rid of that tractor. 😔

That’s an awesome tractor! Usually I prefer wide fronts but that one is just cool. I’d love to see some pictures of the interior. I’m betting it looks as good as the outside of the tractor?

The 66 series bolster  is wider than a 06/56. It can be shimmed to fit. But not what people want on a 66 series. The correct bolster would probably be $1200+

$400!!!!!! Holy smokes!!!!! And no pics to boot.....pass

Sounds like it is just for the pedestal assembly and not the whole tractor by the way the ad reads.  Plenty of NFE assemblies for 06 and 56 series.  66 series is a different story.

Pics don't show for me. Those 06-56 narrow front are $100-150 around here, UNLESS you find the super rare HD one off a 66 series, then they're $1,000.

I almost got dizzy spinning those photos around on the phone so they would post correctly. Lol! As you can see, they wanted to keep a eye on the rear tires. Plexiglass windows they put in very particularly mind you. Wasn't a butcher job with the blue wrench, and self tapping screws. They made frames for them and sealed em up nice and tight

Any idea why they added the windows?  Just trying to think of a reason why you would go through all that work to see the rear tires.
