Mike looks good !! 😄 And don't expect to find a girl/boy🤡 in pink and purple hair with a velcro vax flap on their hemp fiber blouse sleeve to sell you a double floppy frappe soy shake either. Laying on the beach at night if you look up you can see the milky way and limitless constellations and when conditions are right the Northern Lights dance over head. Quietness but for the sounds of a calf and mother calling to each other for supper, coyotes singing and the fauna of the lake. You have to have a different set of values to appreciate a ****hole place like this. 😃 I like to believe when the good Lord looks down on this small isolated spot of flyover country, he smiles. Come on over Mike and bring the missus. I will take you there. mike newman
........frankly . Jeff....I have no idea what the purpose of a''velcro vax flap'' is in the turbulent, turgid world of the Rainbow communities bodies....is it a ''pecker'' flap ?? ...nor would I have a clue as to what a double ''flappy floppy soy shakey 'is either..but I can guess its doubled in price in the last day or two ..if you think I live in a cultural backwater...you are correct....but it sure as heck suits me...!!! ..I'm certainly not up with the current clothes fashions ......and I detest seeing young men wearing those bloody shocking coloured pants...as though they had left their pyjama pants on...then gone off to work.... ..back to the topic....petrol no doubt has gone up..since this post started.... ,,,and yes...I hope to have one more visit to the US........ db1486
Around 1.829/l for diesel at the pumps here in MB now. Works out to 5.479/gallon US. Gas is about 10 cents/liter behind today. I was in SK yesterday and 91 premium gas was cheaper than diesel. Cheaper for me to ski doo everywhere instead of drive the truck. If only the dealers had oil in stock now. Brp etec oil must be in the same shipment as Rotella T because there sure ain't much around lol
ray54
The diesel being higher than premium gas happens here fairly often. But can be the same price as regular 87 at a station that is high priced all the way around. It seem to vary in price from place to place more than gas. The cheaper lesser brand gas place are just about always the cheapest, with the big brands of Chevron, BP, and Arco being expensive. Here in California.

Federal tax is $.184/gal. Ny tax is $.4045/gal. Then the sales tax average in ny is 8.229%. Where I was looking for wholesale gas prices last day or two is $3.10-3.25. Do the math my local gas station is at $4.40 right now someone is making a pretty good profit. If @stronger800 is seeing $5 I would say we got some price gouging. Just for reference a few years ago I looked up wholesale price and figured in taxes and there was less than $.05/gal profit on regular basis. In ny the Indian reservations sell tax exempt gas. I have seen their prices right even with the other stations when you take off the tax but last I was there last week they were $.20-.30 behind other local stations. stronger800
Exactly. The chain of stations that was five dollars on Wednesday, they actually dropped back to 4.55!yesterday and they did not have their big signs out by the roads illuminated. I actually drove in and pulled up to a pump again, to verify. I should’ve taken a picture when it said 5.

I was pointing out to zlienenbach that the fed govt is getting the same amount per gallon with 6 dollar gas as they do if gas is 2 dollars. So there is no more money for roads than there was. I agree with you that some stations have to be taking advantage of customers with too much markup

There will be a fuel surcharge affecting all products we buy that are hauled in. If you don't burn any diesel, you are still affected by it.

jeeper61
I wonder if the stations will need to change the pumps out like they had too when it went over a dollar a gallon? Can they support $10 a gallon? I think we need to bring these back updated for the current times
