“I bought a beautiful diamond ring, offered it to the sweetest thing I know, and she said she would take it” - Long Line of Love, Paul Overstreet

This one is dedicated to Mary in memory of @WaynefromWi. Not to cry, but to bring fond memories. It was the first song my wife and I ever danced to which is the only reason I thought it fitting.

Don't Bring Me Down
Song by Electric Light Orchestra

You got me runnin', goin' out of my mind
You got me thinkin' that I'm wastin' my time
Don't bring me down
No, no, no, no, no
Ooh-ooh-hoo
I'll tell you once more before I get off the floor
Don't bring me down
You wanna stay out with your fancy friends
I'm tellin' you, it's got to be the end

So sorry for your loss Mary. I'm glad this bunch of clowns (myself included) were able to make you smile.

Yeah...Ok    KWRB...but if you put something on here ...which goes under the rather elastic heading of " music"..please remember to place the   ''R 75 ""   warning  symbol.... thus not frightening ....or  raising the blood pressure  of   the more gentle   members.  Thankyou....

Going gray around the temples
Usually days when I won't shave
Have a habit of tripping over ripples,
And watching them roll in to waves
I've been too long riding this range
Running wild, without reins
Always traveling against the grains
And pretty girls deserve better
I'm too old to change

"Nobody saw him runnin down 16th avenue

They never found the fingerprint or the weapon that was used

But someone killed country music, cut out its heart and soul

They got away with murder down on music row"

I wore that album out and had to buy another copy when I was in high school.
